HK Composites Connection Ties for Insulated Concrete Sandwich Panels
HK Connection Ties are engineered thermopolymer ties designed to connect two concrete wythes through rigid insulation for insulated concrete sandwich panel systems. Their patented, low-conductivity polymer systems excel in tests for tensile strength, shearing, concrete pull-out, long term alkaline resistance, fire, cyclic fatigue and more. Standard and composite action ties available.
HK ties minimize the energy draining effects of thermal bridging experienced when metal ties or solid sections of concrete are used to connect the concrete wythes of sandwich panels through the insulation layer.
